Hire Up Staffing Services is working with a fast-growing, dynamic team looking for a Financial Analyst who will be a key business partner in forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management.

This role is with a company in the food manufacturing  industry. This Financial Analyst role is a permanent  opportunity in the Fresno, California  area.

Conducting financial modeling on various financial products, as well as measuring, analyzing and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans, will be among the Financial Analyst' s duties. The Financial Analyst will also advise management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and prepare reports for management.

What you get to do every day:

- Inspect performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities

- Oversee the monthly and quarterly financial close process by working with Accounting

- Understand and explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending

- Function next to senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization

- Own monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required

- Support weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment level Bookings and P L forecasting

- Edit and manage forecasting reports

- Enable effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support

- Support contacts in Accounting and Operations to execute business plans

- Flexible candidate that can organize a vast amount of information while managing high expectations

- Track monthly and quarterly performance through comparison of actuals versus expectations and enable business partners to handle their resources

Job Requirements: 

- Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations

- Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently

- Experience with financial data management processes systems, e.g. Oracle/Hyperion/SAP Business Objects/SFDC/Tableau

- Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills

- Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

- Financial planning analysis (go-to-market experience preferred)

- Spreadsheet and ERP system experience is a plus

- Numeric data entry experience

- Financial analysis experience

- General ledger experience

- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel

- BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
