Job Description
Pay DOE $53-$60/hr.
Will be at least a 52-week contract.
Requirements
- Highly skilled in full-stack administration
- Experienced in administering VMware and other virtualization technologies
- Strong expertise in the administration of Windows Server, IIS, and Microsoft SQL
- 7 years of IT Operations Support experience.
- Preferred certifications MCSE, MCSA, VCP ect.
Job Duties
- Designing, configuring, and upkeeping server, storage, and networking infrastructure.
- Developing, configuring, and managing cloud infrastructure and applications, ensuring seamless integration with on-premises systems.
- Managing virtualization environments, with a specific focus on VMware platforms.
- Installing, configuring, and overseeing Microsoft Windows Server, IIS, and Microsoft SQL.
- Deploying and sustaining enterprise applications, Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) packages, and custom .NET web applications.
- Collaborating closely with development teams and application owners for deployment, updates, and troubleshooting.
- Partnering with IT and business teams to create and execute new solutions, policies, and risk assessments.
- Implementing and sustaining security measures across all layers of the IT infrastructure.
- Acting as a technical liaison with vendor support to coordinate system upgrades, vulnerability mitigation, and day-to-day support cases.
- Providing tier two support by directly engaging with vendors, end-users, and IT colleagues.
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for IT operational procedures and system configurations.
- Developing process documentation, workflows, knowledge articles, and self-service guidance.
