Hire Up is currently seeking a Payroll Specialist  in the Bakersfield area for a great opportunity with a prestigious company!

As a payroll specialist, you will:
  • Perform daily payroll department operations
  • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
  • Reconcile payroll prior to transmission
  • Process garnishment calculations and compliance
  • Perform compliance for unclaimed property payroll checks
  • Process accurate and timely year-end reporting when necessary (W-2, W-2c, etc)

Qualified candidates will possess: 
  • 4+  years of payroll experience
  • High volume processing experience (over 500 employees)
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, KRONOS or ADP
  • The ability to work independently 
  • Speedy data entry skills
