Production Manager
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrocoating (E-Coat) Production Manager to lead daily operations of a high-volume e-coating facility. This role oversees the full coating process—pretreatment, bath control, curing, and finishing—while ensuring safety, quality, and production efficiency.
$70,000–$120,000/year (DOE)
Key Responsibilities

Manage daily e-coat production and ensure on-time throughput

Lead and mentor a team of 30+ employees

Maintain quality standards, including CQI-12

Monitor bath chemistry and process controls

Drive efficiency using Lean/Six Sigma principles

Ensure OSHA/EPA compliance and promote a safe work environment

Coordinate maintenance and chemical/material inventory

Report production metrics and resolve issues proactively

5+ years of production management experience, preferably in e-coating

Strong knowledge of pretreatment, bath control, curing, and equipment maintenance

Proven leadership of large teams (30+ employees)

Understanding of OSHA/EPA regulations

Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Proficiency with MS Office and ERP/MRP systems
