Hire Up Staffing Services in Visalia is searching for a Purchasing/Logistics Manager for a food processing facility in the Southern Fresno County area.
Duties for this Purchasing/Logistics position include:
- Purchasing raw material and packaging for the production of products
- Manage inventory and logistics with 3rd party warehouses and co-packing locations.
- Qualifying vendors, negotiating prices.
- Must be familiar with ERP or MRP systems.
- Work with Planning on availability of materials.
- Work with QC on specifications of materials and supporting documentation.
Essentials for success in this Purchasing/Logistics position:
- Bachelor’ s Degree in Business or related field
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience, preferably in a food processing environment with fresh produce buying.
- Strong communication skills
- Self-starter who is able to work independently
- Knowledge of MS Office suite and Sage 100
