HIRE UP STAFFING SERVICES is working together with our TULELAKE client in their search for an ACCOUNTING CLERK. This ACCOUNTING CLERK role is a full time, temp to hire opportunity with a generous starting pay.
This is a mid-level position responsible for maintaining accurate business records and sound bookkeeping procedures in a manner that supports outstanding customer service, the manufacturing process, and the quality of the product.
- Manufacture bulk/bagged ingredients and products within accounting system in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory within the accounting software.
- Review and distribute manufacturing and shipping paperwork.
- Assist with maintenance and distribution of Access reports.
- Process Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable and assists with resolution of issues.
- Assist with the development of reporting criteria to show efficiencies in the Manufacturing, Shipping, and Production departments.
- Maintain and organize data in Excel.
- Assist with all EDI transactions and reconciliations.
- Handle confidential information with discretion.
- Enter orders into accounting system, as necessary.
- Assist with inventory reconciliation, as necessary.
- Provide back-up support for other roles as necessary.
- Available for overtime work on a scheduled or call-in basis, as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned by the manager/supervisor.
- A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum three (3) years’ of administrative/accounting experience.
