Hire Up Staffing Services is currently looking for an Accounting Clerk and Bookkeeper in the Bakersfield area. This is an opportunity with a $20/23hr pay range based off experience.


Job Description:
  • Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
  • Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
  • Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database
  • Perform 1099’ s
  • Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
  • Aid and support to company personnel

  • Proven accounting experience
  • Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Must have 4+ years of Bookkeeping/Accounting Experience
  • Competency in MS Office, data bases and accounting software
  • Well organized
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required
