Hire Up Staffing Services is looking for a  Front Office Coordinator in our  Bakersfield office, on a full time basis.  

Position includes:  answering phones, assisting job seekers with submitting their applications and completing on-boarding paperwork via the web, processing candidate profiles, processing I9 documents and PSL forms for all employees.  Duties include: making sure that all compliance is correct for human resources and payroll purposes.  This individual will be supporting the branch of recruiters with job openings, new placements, client requests and overall customer service. 

The best individual must have the most friendly disposition of anyone.  This person needs to smile in their tone of voice over the phone, conveying the most positive experience for anyone who they interact with.  This person should always be upbeat, considerate, willing to bend over backwards for anyone and make sure that they are the happiest (even in the most unhappy situations).  They have to deal with negative conflict, as in a staffing office we are effecting people' s lives in obtaining them a job and this can be quite an emotional roller coaster for people, especially if they are not offered jobs by our employers, which we have no control over.  So a strong level of empathy and proper language with professional communication is a must for this position. 

Experience needed:
  • 2 years of recent office experience working in a professional industry/office (such as a law office, CPA office, corporate office of a large company with professional attire)
  • Professional demeanor with proper English communication 
  • Advanced skills on Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Typing above 50 WPM

Position details:

Pay: $13-$14  an hour

Location:  Bakersfield, off of California Avenue,

Hours:  8am-5pm Monday through Friday with 1 hour lunch

Dress code:  Professional, Fridays denim pants are okay
