Hire Up Staffing is currently seeking an experienced legal assistant/secretary who is self-motivated and detail-oriented to work in busy law firm in Bakersfield.
Position involves substantial administrative work and client interaction.
The ideal candidate must have excellent professional skills, be extremely organized and have knowledge and some experience in the legal industry.
Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
Legal Assistant Qualifications:
- At least 1 year working as a Legal Assistant, or Administrative Assistant in some type of law office setting
- Knowledge and experience maintaining schedules for others
- Exemplary customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Excellent computer skills including extensive knowledge of all Microsoft, Outlook, and Google products
- Able to work autonomously
- Articulate people person
- Detail oriented
- Self starter

Shelley was a primary recruiter for Atlast Copco Mafi-Trench, the world’s leading producer that develops, manufactures, and services air compressors for oil companies worldwide.
Having really found a passion for recruiting and career coaching since starting in the staffing industry, Shelley thrives on finding specific talent for a wide variety of industries and functions. Since Hire Up specializes in hard-to-fill positions, Shelley plans to bring her diverse knowledge and continue to perfect her skills at Hire Up.
