Hire Up Staffing is assisting our client in their search for an experienced Logistics Manager. This is an amazing opportunity to work for one of the most well-known manufacturing companies in Tulare County! This is a direct hire opportunity with a starting salary range of $72-76K/year.
This Logistics Manager’ s ultimate responsibility is to manage the shipping and distribution operations of the plant.
- Organize the storage and distribution of product
- Plan and manage all logistics and transportation within the warehouse
- Oversee shipping department to ensure all orders are sent and delivered on time and to the right location
- Supply Chain coordination
- Work with suppliers of materials, retailers and customers
- Managing receiving department
- Responsible for flow of goods, warehousing and stock control
- Train, mentor and manage a team of 6
- Implement and enforce all policies, procedures and safety initiatives
- Plan and manage projects
- BS degree in Business Admin, Logistics or Supply Chain is required, MA preferred
- 5+ years of proven experience as a Logistics or Supply Chain Manager
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Must have exceptional leadership, problem-solving and analytical skills
