Job Description


A prominent Fresno manufacturing company is looking to add a MASTER PRODUCTION SCHEDULER to their team.

The MASTER PRODUCTION SCHEDULER   is responsible for evaluation of  material requirements to minimize inventory while supporting the production plan and customer orders. Duties include working with manufacturing and suppliers to determine  schedule attainability, capacity, and pricing.  Release material orders to both suppliers and manufacturing to support material requirements.  The MASTER PRODUCTION SCHEDULER will lead scheduling  improvements of work order packets, capacity and information through the machine shop and fabrication shop.

 

Education/Experience:

· Extensive knowledge of manufacturing process

· 4 or more years of Materials Management experience

· APICS certification preferred

· Bachelor Degree in supply chain emphasis preferred

 

Skill Requirements:

Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Basic maths  in all units of measure using whole numbers converting to   common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to create and interpret bar graphs,  solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

AS 400, Data3, Microsoft Office, proficient in excel
