Hire Up Staffing Services is currently looking for a Medical Admitting Clerk in the Bakersfield area for a dynamic medical company.

Job Description:
  • Heavy customer service
  • Provide outstanding customer service, greets clients
  • Collecting patient info, insurance, and symptoms
  • Explains hospital regulations, such as visiting hours, payment of accounts, and schedule of charges
  • Escorts patient or arranges for escort to assigned room
  • May receive payments on account
  • Answers phones on unit and manages calls appropriately

Requirements:
  • Must be able to work well under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills are a must
  • Ability to remember things and accurately record information
  • Must be efficient in customer service and provide a friendly face to visitors
  • Must has a flexible schedule to work any shift
  • Must be able to work well with others and be a team player
  • Bilingual helpful, but not required
  • 2+ year’ s experience in medical industry
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
