Hire Up Staffing is looking for an experience Medical Biller for one of our established clients! 

This position will be Full Time and temp to hire! 

Pay ranges from $16 - $20 depending on experience 

Requirements:
  • Must have 3 - 5 years experience in a high volume multi-specialty medical office 
  • Knowledge in ICD-9 and ICD-10
  • Knowledge in Excel/spreadsheet files required
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
Daily Procedures Include:
  • Reviewing patient bills for accuracy and completeness, and obtaining any missing information.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and transmitting claims using billing software, including electronic and paper claim processing.
  • Calling insurance companies regarding any discrepancy in payments if necessary
  • Identifying and billing secondary or tertiary insurances.
  • Reviewing accounts for insurance of patient follow-up.
  • Researching and appealing denied claims.
  • Answering all patient or insurance telephone inquiries pertaining to assigned accounts.
  • Setting up patient payment plans and work collection accounts.
  • Running Billing Reports
