Hire Up Staffing is currently looking for a Medical Coder for a dynamic medical facility in the Bakersfield area.   This opportunity is temp to hire. 

Duties include:

 
  • Coding all inpatient and outpatient records
  • Determine charges for procedures and supplies for ER, Wound Care and Urgent Care
  • Review all DRG charts prior to the billing process

 

Requirements:

 
  • 1-3+ years of ICD-10 and CPT coding
  • Knowledge of coding both inpatient and outpatient records
  • Acute hospital experience highly desired
  • CCS, RHIT or RHIA credentials highly desired, but not required
