    Hire Up Staffing Services  is currently looking for a Temp  Patient Access  Clerk  in the Bakersfield area.  These positions require 100% open availability to work nights, weekends and holidays when needed.  This is a key role within the company and is considered a customer service position.  Pay range is $14 to start.

    Job Description:
    • Heavy customer service
    • Provide outstanding customer service, greets clients
    • Taking co-payments
    • Insurance verification and authorizations
    • Collecting patient info, insurance, and symptoms
    • Data entry
    • Explains hospital regulations, such as visiting hours, payment of accounts, and schedule of charges
    • Answers phones on unit and manages calls appropriately

    Requirements:
    • Must be able to work well under pressure
    • Excellent communication skills are a must
    • Must be efficient in customer service and provide a friendly face to visitors
    • 1+ years’ experience in medical industry
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
