Production Lead (Jr Level)

We' re currently recruiting for a two new Production Supervisor / Jr. Leads for a large scale food processing company west of the Bakersfield area. Company is about one hour outside of Bakersfield, between Bakersfield, CA and Santa Maria, CA. This position pays between $16 - $20 an hour, with overtime!
In this position the person will be responsible for managing a production line and ensuring that product is moving correctly to keep up efficiency. This individual will be responsible for a team of people to make sure that they are working through their jobs correctly. This role offers a full time schedule, with lots of overtime as they are busy during normal crush season (November to March)
- Bilingual Spanish
- 4 years in production supervisor or lead role from a prior food manufacturer
- Must be a food processor who makes bulk or wholesale food products or farming entity
- Someone who is mechanically inclined
- Computer proficient in Outlook, Excel and Word in order to communicate with the production management team via email, manage and understand spreadsheets, along with do written documents
Ideal candidate would have stable working experience, be very detailed and organized, be able to work independently and ensure that production is always on track at this location and have strong communication skills.
