- Review and process requisitions.
- Works with vendors to obtain product/service information
- Selects products for purchase by testing, observing, or examining items.
- Estimates values according to knowledge of market price.
- Determines method of procurement
- Prepares purchase orders or bid requests.
- Reviews bid proposals and negotiates contracts
- Maintains procurement records
- Discusses defective or unacceptable goods or services
- Processes invoices for payment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, a must.
- 2+ years related experience.
- Strong math skills.
- Ability to multitask and great communication skills.
- Must be a team player and take directive well.
