Responsibilities and Duties -
- Responsible for removing trash and contaminants from green waste/food waste collected and delivered to site by City of Austin -
- Adhere to standard safety procedures Qualifications and Skills We are seeking an individual who: - is detail-oriented and responsible - is a hard worker and takes initiative- has open communication and works well in a team setting -
- Has previous experience working outdoors - isn' t afraid of dirty work and stepping up in a team -
- Is interested in opportunities for advancement and cross-training up to other positions such as equipment operation etc.
- Able to lift/carry up to 75lb
- Must be able to work in all conditions including rain, heat, and cold.
- Handle unpleasant odor or messy tasks
