Hire Up Staffing is currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer for our Fresno Client!
This is a Direct Hire position - Salary is negotiable
Some essential duties and requirements are listed below:
Establish, manage and continually improve relevant metrics and aspect to track and evaluate key processes in the various certified areas of the company. Maintain and track data in support of established metrics.
Manage the Corrective Action Request (CAR), Preventive Action Request (PAR), Customer Complaint (CC) and Return Goods Authorization (RGA) processes.
Manage internal and external ISO/TS audits, represent company as the QMS representative during internal and external audits, create management review reports and conduct periodic review meetings.
Assist in internal and external audit processes for other divisions and locations operating under ISO/TS standards.
Manage certification of the QMS to new ISO/TS standards appropriate to the relevant business unit.
Interpret quality assurance and ISO/TS philosophy to all personnel in the organization.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Bachelor' s degree (B. A. or B. S.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree in engineering preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical data. Familiar with analytical techniques. Cause and effect analysis, X bar & R charting, histograms, etc. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to employees, customers, vendors, management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
