Hire Up Staffing Services is growing fast here in California, and we are looking to add more talent to our Bakersfield branch!
I am currently seeking an energetic, passionate and customer focused individual who is excited to join us on our journey of redefining the staffing experience! Someone with a strong inside sales background who will learn what it means to be a Recruiter.
In this role, the recruiter will be focused on attracting and acquiring local business and talent, providing exceptional service to our clients and our candidates; establishing relationships with professional in our community and developing proactive candidate searches. To accomplish this, the ideal candidate will need an innovative mindset, the ability to build trusting relationships, adaptability, and a sense of humor.
Prior staffing service experience would be great, but it' s not required. A strong administrative and sales background would be wonderful. Ideally someone who already has a niche for this market in a sales capacity and possibly is ready for the next step in their career.
Success is all based off of personal drive and dedication to goals. The position has an hourly rate, plus commission potential and bonuses. An average recruiter can make up to $50k or more annually in their first year, with paying zero out of pocket expenses for benefits and even grow to $65k-$110k in their second year and beyond. Your success is based on your sales and the sky is the limit!
Company fully pays the premium for medical, dental and life insurance policy for the employee. There is no out of pocket expenses for the employee to incur for their benefits. Voluntary benefits available for STD, cancer care plan, additional life insurance, additional dental and accident insurance. Dependents can be added for an additional cost. There' s a college savings account and money paid toward closing costs on buying a new home.

Requirements to apply are:
4+ years of successful client management / sales management experience required
4+ years of successful business-to-business outside or inside service sales experience with current contacts and relationships to tap into for staffing services

She acted as their primary staffing consultant providing comprehensive talent acquisition solutions to their wide professional customer base, as well as filling in as the Compliance Coordinator when needed. With a blended background of HR solutions, recruiting and understanding the laws for personnel file management she staffed for several key and difficult industries - Military Defense, Aerospace, Semiconductor Specialty, Fortune 500 companies, and even some wineries on the Central Coast. Shelley was a primary recruiter for Atlast Copco Mafi-Trench, the world’s leading producer that develops, manufactures, and services air compressors for oil companies worldwide.
Having really found a passion for recruiting and career coaching since starting in the staffing industry, Shelley thrives on finding specific talent for a wide variety of industries and functions. Since Hire Up specializes in hard-to-fill positions, Shelley plans to bring her diverse knowledge and continue to perfect her skills at Hire Up. As the primary Recruiting Manager for the Hire Up Bakersfield Branch, she is excited to develop new partnerships in the Kern County as well as attract and retain the best talent on the market to make those companies the most successful.
