Centrally located Fresno manufacturing group has an immediate need for a Service Coordinator.
This position requires a highly organized person to communicate with customers and coordinate the service schedule. The Service Coordinator is responsible for the scheduling of preventative maintenance and trouble calls for industrial grade compressed air systems. The Service Coordinator is required to develop and manage long term customer relationships through excellent customer service and follow-through.
- Coordinate between customers and technicians for onsite visits and support requests.
- Reports status of jobs to the General Manager and customers.
- Maintain the dispatch board / schedule.
- Communicate with service customers to determine the nature of the technical problems.
- Handle telephone inquiries regarding work in progress and appointments.
- Coordinate follow up scheduling with customers.
- Provide great customer service through a positive attitude.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction and assure effective follow up.
Knowledge & Skills
- General knowledge of industrial products including compressed air products, including but not limited to air compressors, vacuum pumps and air treatment.
- Strong computer skills.
- Must have exceptional and prompt communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multi-task effectively.
This is a Direct Hire opportunity. A Bachelor' s degree along with 2 years of working experience is a high paced manufacturing environment is preferred.
