Hire Up Staffing is hiring for a Manufacturing Technicians for a client in the Pleasanton, CA area!
This position is paying $18-$45/hr depending on experience.
Hours are M-TH 6: 30 AM - 5: 00 PM. Temporary to permanent position.
Position Responsibilities By Level:
- Level 1:
- Mechanical assembly
- Sub-assembly preparation
- Clean production equipment and areas
- Level 2 (Level 1 plus the following)
- Control panel wiring
- Final assembly
- Planning of work to meet production schedule
- Provide production, progress, or changeover reports to supervisor
- Set up production equipment
- Level 3 (Levels 1-2 and the following)
- Read and interpret electrical schematics
- Assist engineers in developing, building, or testing prototypes or new products, processes, or procedures.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with equipment, devices, and products.
- Provide training for other technicians
- Follow all safety procedures and adhere to all company policies and procedures, including the safe operation of equipment and help to maintain a safe, clean work environment to include general housekeeping warehouse duties.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Previous experience with manufacturing, mechanical or electrical assembly
- Knowledge mechanical and sub-assembly preparation
- Knowledge of control panel wiring
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to use computer software for documentation
- Ability to read and interpret documents including engineering documents, safety rules, and workmanship standards.
- Able to stand for 10 hours
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
