Job Description
Position Overview:
As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing our accounts receivable processes, including deposit processing, adjustment processing, and collections. Your meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure the smooth operation of our financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process daily deposits accurately and efficiently.
- Handle daily invoice adjustments with precision and timeliness.
- Conduct daily follow-up with vendors on past due invoices to ensure timely payments.
- Generate bi-weekly AR aging reports for management review.
- Act as backup support for Shipping Clerks when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the finance team.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
- Strong sense of urgency and willingness to be hands-on with tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to leverage technology for increased efficiency.
- Exceptional attention to detail with excellent communication skills.
Education and Experience:
- A 2-year degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is a plus.
- 1+ years of professional experience in a similar role
