Financial Analyst - Accounting Analyst
Job Description
Our Client is looking for an experienced Accounting or Financial Analyst to support their finance team during a high-activity period. This role will focus on financial analysis, reporting, and accounting support across multiple business units.
M-F 8a-5p
Pay - $38 DOE
Contract role
Key Responsibilities:

Analyze financial performance including revenue, costs, margins, and operational trends across multiple locations or business units

Assist with recurring and ad hoc financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities
-
Partner with finance leadership to review branch or departmental financial results and variances
-
Support month-end close activities including journal entries, allocations, and balance sheet reconciliations

Assist with fixed asset accounting, including tracking, approvals, depreciation, and reporting
-
Prepare and maintain financial reports using reporting and budgeting tools
-
Participate in special finance and accounting projects as business needs arise
-
Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders to support accurate financial reporting
Systems & Tools:
-
Microsoft Office Suite (advanced Excel required; Power BI exposure preferred)
-
ERP experience required (Eclipse ERP or similar systems preferred)

Financial reporting and budgeting tools such as OneStream or comparable platforms
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

3–5 years of accounting or financial analysis experience
-
Solid understanding of financial statements, with strong balance sheet knowledge

Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets
-
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
-
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
