Job Description
Hire Up Staffing is currently hiring for a Senior Accountant for a client located in Fresno, CA.
M-F 8am-5pm flexible schedule
Pay: $60K- $100K DOE
Responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
- Prepares complex tax returns including individual, trust, partnership and S-corporation tax returns
- Analyzes client source documentation Works directly with clients to gather information and tax documents
- Responds to client inquires Communicates with clients in person, on the phone and in writing Reviews tax returns prepared by staff accountants and interns and provides feedback
- Reviews various bookkeeping and accounting projects prepared by staff accountants and interns Manages the tax and accounting assignments of staff accountants and interns Performs accounting services including maintaining and preparing financial reports
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Keeps Partner fully informed of job progress and problems as they arise Tracks time on client engagements and documents per firm policy Ability to support multiple projects and deadlines
- Prepares neat and organized work
- Finishes projects within specified budgeted time Demonstrates compliance with firm policies Exhibits appropriate knowledge of technical matters Maintains confidentiality and understands the requirements of CPA state regulations and requirements
- Follows directions and determines when more information is need Understands and prepares complete work papers and documents pursuant to firm policy
- Willingness to work increased hours during peak work cycles Willingness to travel as required
Education and Experience
- Four year accounting degree, including 150 semester hours of education
- Knowledge of Microsoft operating and application software, advancing ability to use other service area specific application software such as tax and engagement software
