Position: Accounting Administrator
- Location: North Fresno, CA
- Company: North Fresno Ag Company
- Pay: $22-$24/hour
- Hours: Early shift options: 7am-4pm or 6am-3pm (produce industry schedule)
Job Description:
North Fresno Ag Company is seeking a diligent and organized Accounting Administrator to join our team. This entry-level role offers growth potential, evolving into additional responsibilities over time.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable:
- Post and verify customer payments
- Invoice and generate weekly statements
- Manage collections and aging reports for sales
- Research and resolve discrepancies
General Office Payables:
- Verify and process bills
- Code bills to the correct GL
- Cut checks as directed
- Maintain a monthly bill schedule to ensure timely payments
Travel Coordination:
- Arrange travel for employees, including flights, hotels, and rental cars
- Confirm travel plans with employees and adjust as needed
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist with end-of-month close tasks
- Support HR with benefits forms and general HR duties
- Other duties as assigned
- Reliability and trustworthiness
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to learn accounting software systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential records meticulously
- High school diploma required
- AA or BA in business preferred but not required
- Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
- Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods
