Job Description
Hire Up Staffing is hiring a Staff Accountant/Accounting Clerk to support core accounting functions and ensure accurate financial records. This role is responsible for transactional accounting, reconciliations, and close support within a fast-paced environment.
Pay-$25/hr.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with audit preparation and respond to data requests
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities
- Perform general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare, review, and post routine accounting entries
- Process and track accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Monitor account activity and resolve discrepancies
- Coordinate with vendors and internal partners regarding balances and payments
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
- Follow established accounting procedures and internal controls
Qualifications
-
3+ years of professional accounting experience
-
Practical experience using QuickBooks required

Strong proficiency in Excel and basic Microsoft Office tools

Self-directed with the ability to complete work independently
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
