Bilingual Accounting Clerk

Now Hiring: Account Clerk (Cash) – Visalia, CA
$21–$22/hour | Full-Time | Immediate Start – Monday, March 2
Hire Up Staffing is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Account Clerk for a full-time opportunity in Visalia. This position offers an immediate start and does not require a client interview — candidates will complete an interview with a Hire Up recruiter and resume review only.
This is a great opportunity for someone with accounting support experience who is ready to commit long-term. Candidates must be able to work full-time and maintain perfect attendance during the first 90 days.
Position Summary
Responsible for processing accurate and timely financial documents and assisting with monthly financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, contracts, reimbursements, leases, and utilities for payment
• Enter financial data into internal systems (contracts, purchase orders, stipends, mileage, etc.)
• Assist with gathering documentation for audits or internal reviews
• Run monthly fund balance reports
• Maintain accounts payable and contract filing systems
• Support subsidiary ledger maintenance
• Prepare journal entries related to building and payroll allocations
• Assist vendors and staff with questions
• Draft general correspondence
• Post accounts receivable to automated systems
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate’s degree in a related field OR minimum 2 years of directly related accounting experience
• Strong ten-key and data entry skills
• Experience using spreadsheets and word processing programs
• Bilingual English/Spanish required
• Ability to perform basic algebra and financial calculations
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
• Indoor office environment
• Prolonged sitting and computer use
• Occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 15 pounds
• Possible attendance at meetings or off-site training
Employment Details
This is a full-time, at-will position. Immediate availability is required. Candidates must be able to work their scheduled hours consistently with no absences during the first 90 days.
