Accounts Payable Clerk

Job Description
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm.
Duties:
- Confirm that all paperwork is submitted in a timely manner so that the subcontractors can get paid.
- Assist the AP department with data entry.
- Review and verify invoices and check requests.
- Sort, code and match invoices.
- Set invoices up for payment.
- Track expenses and process expense reports.
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
- Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
- Communication with project managers and subcontractors on a daily basis.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of Accounts Payable experience
- Proficient in MS Office, including Excel
- Highly proficient with 10-key
- Attention to detail
