Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our client in Oceanside. The ideal candidate will support daily accounting and administrative operations, process invoices, assist vendors, and provide occasional front desk support. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Pay-$22-$25 DOE
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Essential Duties-

Process and allocate inventory and expense invoices, including both paper and EDI formats.

Review all invoices for proper documentation and approval prior to payment.

Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, chargebacks, and vendor issues.

Assist with processing vendor rebates and inquiries.

Support corporate finance staff and branch personnel with general accounting tasks.

Provide backup support to the receptionist as needed, including answering phones and greeting visitors.

Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
-
High School Diploma or GED required.
-
1–3 years of related accounting, administrative, or clerical experience preferred.

Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

Self-starter with strong initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills.
-
Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
-
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
-
Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills.
-
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
-
Accurate typing and 10-key by touch.
-
Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships across departments.

Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ownership of responsibilities.
