Job Description


Job Summary:
Hire Up Staffing is seeking a reliable and professional Bilingual Receptionist to join our team. To be successful in this role, candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong competency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel, and a proactive attitude. Prior experience as a receptionist or in a similar role is preferred but not required.


Receptionist Responsibilities:
  • Greet parents, students, and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude and a friendly smile.
  • Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality at all times.
  • Assist parents, students, and visitors in navigating the school and providing direction as needed.
  • Help maintain workplace security by issuing, checking, and collecting visitor information as required and maintaining visitor logs.
  • Assist with various administrative tasks, such as copying, faxing, taking notes, and managing calendars.
  • Prepare meeting and training rooms to ensure readiness for events and activities.
  • Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist colleagues with administrative tasks as necessary.
  • Serve as a backup to the office manager when requested by the Chief Business Officer.
  • Sort and distribute incoming mail efficiently.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all individuals who interact with the office.
  • Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings as needed.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned by the Administrative team.


Receptionist Requirements:
  • High School Diploma, Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Prior experience as a receptionist or in a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Must be punctual, organized, and maintain excellent attendance.
  • Ability to contribute positively as part of a team, assisting with various tasks in the school office.
  • Prior experience with administrative and clerical procedures is a plus.
  • Bilingual: English/Spanish- REQUIRED


Additional Information:
  • Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
  • Part-time- Temp to Hire Opportunity
  • Schedule: M-F

  • Must have excellent attendance, punctuality, and a professional demeanor.
