Job Description
Hire Up Executive is looking to hire an Application Engineer for a Manufacturing client of ours in the Central Valley! This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity working on preparing detailed work orders based on quotations and specifications for heavy-duty equipment. MUST have degree in Industrial Engineering or Industrial Technology and 5 years applicable engineering experience.
Full-time, Monday thru Friday, with some overtime periodically required.
Salary Range is $70K - $85K, DOE.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Review quotes, specifications and sales orders to develop detailed work orders for manufacturing and engineering to build units
- Create customer print layouts as needed to convey built design
- Assess feasibility of a project and help quotes to adequately budget, or flag project
- Update the Master Work Order spreadsheet and ensure all proper serial numbers are assigned by product type
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure communication processes and recordkeeping align with sales quotes
- Load work orders into ERP and formalize
- Update MPS with work order and update status of all units
- Track and revise work orders in a timely manner throughout the build process
- Ability to check historical data and how it relates to current build design
- Analyze and determine if ECR's from Production need approval
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Highly organized and driven to meet deadlines
- Dependability in attendance and work ethic
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Must understand Bill of Materials, be able to read technical engineering drawings, technical specifications and have understanding of manufacturing process
- Familiarity with DC electrical and hydraulic system is a plus
- Ability to write technical work orders
