Job Description

Hire Up Staffing  has partnered with an established customer care and fulfillment services company and is seeking a vibrant, organized individual with experience with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel, to join the team as a Part-Time Assistant - Accounting.

Pay: $20-$22/hour (DOE)
Regular Office Hours: M-F; 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. 
(Hours are very flexible and has potential to go fulltime if desired.
100% on-site.)

Job duties are accounting and human resources based and could include:
  • A/P
  • A/R
  • invoicing
  • vendor file organization
  • new hire set up
  • other administrative duties

The position would report to the Staff Accountant who has developed processes and procedures easy to follow and works in office to lead, guide and answer questions as they arise. 

Responsibilities:
  • Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
  • Compute and record numerical data 
  • Check the accuracy of business transactions
  • Perform data entry and administrative duties 
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
  • QuickBooks and Excel knowledge
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
