As an Auto Tech Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our team of automotive technicians in various tasks related to vehicle repair and maintenance. You will work closely with experienced professionals to ensure the smooth operation of our service center and provide exceptional service to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Assist automotive technicians in diagnosing vehicle issues and performing repairs.
- Clean and maintain service bays, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
- Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as changing oil, replacing filters, and rotating tires.
- Assist with parts inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and organizing parts and supplies.
- Help maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, including answering questions and addressing concerns.
- Assist in other duties as assigned by management to support the overall operation of the service center.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in automotive repair or maintenance preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
