Job Description
Hire Up Staffing has partnered with a Medical Giant in the Sugarland area to hire a Bilingual Patient Access Representative with a minimum of 2 years of experience!
Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming calls, provide information, and direct calls to the appropriate personnel.
- Manage office appointments and ultrasound schedules efficiently.
- Collect payments, reconcile daily cash draws, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Verify insurance details for patients scheduled within the last four days and for all ultrasound procedures.
- Manage and work on specific work queues effectively.
- Scan medical records and physician orders into the EPIC system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Handle incoming referrals in a timely and organized manner.
- Collect and distribute mail, ensuring timely delivery to designated recipients.
Qualifications and Skills:
2 years of previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is required.
Proficiency in handling administrative tasks and using office software.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients and staff.
Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems is a plus.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
