CAD Designer
Job Description
Hire Up Staffing is seeking a CAD Designer to support a manufacturing team in Gulfport, MS.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain CAD drawings for equipment, including:
- Part and assembly drawings
- Exploded views and detailed diagrams
- Assist in creating and updating technical documentation, such as:
- Assembly instructions
- Equipment manuals
- Service and troubleshooting guides
- Work closely with production teams to understand how equipment is built and operates
- Ensure all drawings and documentation are accurate, consistent, and aligned with current builds
- Revise and update designs as processes and equipment evolve
What We’re Looking For
- Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar)
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and build processes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, team-oriented environment
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing designs
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in manufacturing, mechanical design, or drafting
- Experience creating exploded views and detailed parts diagrams
- Familiarity with industrial equipment and mechanical systems
- Basic understanding of electrical components (a plus)
