CNC Machinist

Job Description
**Status:** Full-time
**Hours:** 2nd Shift (3:30 pm - midnight) or 3rd Shift (11 pm - 7 am)
**Shift Differential:** $2 per hour on 3rd shift
**Pay Range:** $59,092 - $70,408 (need more? Ask me!)
**Requirements:**
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years experience on CNC mills or lathes
- Proficient in setting up, modifying programs, and using QC gages
- Experience with Conversational Programming or Conversational Machining
- Familiarity with DMG Mori, Cincinnati, Mazak, Weiler, Tacchi, Doosan CNC machines
- Competence in Fanuc and Siemens controls, G-code, and conversational programming
**Responsibilities:**
- Operate CNC machines independently within a month of hire
- Set up and run machines manually and automatically
- Perform supplementary operations for a finished, quality part
- Set up and use precision measuring equipment
- Communicate effectively with team members and support personnel
- Perform minor preventative maintenance tasks
**Basic Qualifications:**
- 5+ years experience on production machines
- Knowledge of shop math, basic trig, and cutting tools
- Ability to read blueprints, programs, and sketches
- Familiarity with precision measuring equipment
- Adaptable, self-directed, and capable of working independently
- Physical ability to stand for 8-10 hours, lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
