Job Description
Join our dynamic team at a leading financial organization with a strong industry presence for over 40 years. We are looking for an Insurance Compliance Manager to ensure adherence to insurance regulations and support our brokerage's regulatory obligations. Your role involves overseeing compliance activities, handling regulatory audits, and enhancing our compliance program.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee compliance for insurance products, liaising with various departments.
- Assist in regulatory audits and resolve complex issues related to insurance products.
- Stay updated on federal and state laws, updating policies as needed.
- Identify and address compliance vulnerabilities, leading projects to enhance policies and procedures.
- Assist in state and carrier appointments.
- Develop and implement compliance training for internal teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of related work experience.
- Securities Licenses: Series 7 and 24 (or ability to obtain within 6 months).
- Life Insurance License (or ability to obtain within 3 months).
- Strong understanding of insurance and securities laws and regulations.
- Familiarity with relevant acts, rules, and regulations.
- Experience with legal document review.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and database management.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base Salary Range: $85,550 - $122,300.
- Annual incentive plan bonus.
- Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and more.
Job Conditions and Environment:
- Normal office environment with some travel required (10 – 15%).
