Construction Project Manager

Job Title: Construction Manager
Location: Fresno, CA
Salary Range: $95,000 – $135,000 / year
Employment Type: Full-Time, Exempt
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead diverse real estate development projects from concept to completion. This is a hands-on role for a proven professional who can oversee every stage of development, from design and permitting to construction and closeout, while ensuring quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Direct and manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, permitting, scheduling, and execution.

Oversee commercial tenant improvement work and ensure contractors deliver within scope, timeline, and budget.

Provide leadership to consultants, contractors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial accountability at all stages.

Coordinate with property management and tenants on repairs, improvements, and build-outs.

Guide the bidding process, including evaluations, negotiations, and contract awards.

Maintain strict compliance with safety standards and conduct quality inspections.

Keep stakeholders informed with clear and consistent updates on progress.

Stay current on construction trends, materials, and labor costs to support cost-effective decisions.

Promote innovation and continuous improvement in processes and project delivery.

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (experience may substitute).

Minimum 5 years of construction management experience, ideally with commercial or mixed-use projects.

Strong background in tenant improvements, permitting, and contractor oversight.

Skilled in budget management, scheduling, and contract review.

Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to stakeholders.

Proficiency with MS Project, Bluebeam, and other industry-standard tools.

Valid CA driver’s license with clean driving record.
