Job Description
We are seeking a Credit Support Specialist to join our client’s Credit Department. This is a great opportunity for someone with accounting or finance experience who enjoys supporting a fast-paced team environment. The Credit Support Specialist will be responsible for processing credit applications, handling lien waivers, assisting with account setups, and maintaining accurate records to ensure smooth departmental operations.
Key Responsibilities

Support the Credit Department with administrative and accounting-related tasks.

Respond to incoming customer calls and emails, addressing inquiries or forwarding requests to the appropriate credit team member.

Research, prepare, and file lien waivers with proper documentation.

Process daily and monthly credit card payments, prepare deposits, and forward backup documentation as needed.

Maintain and scan Tax Exemption Certificates; follow up with customers for updated documentation.

Assist with processing customer refunds, vendor forms, disputed AR items, and account updates.

Process, analyze, and recommend actions for new account applications within established parameters.

Set up new approved customer, project, and shipping accounts; perform periodic account maintenance and deactivation.

Collaborate with the Credit Analysts and Credit Manager to resolve customer account issues and maintain positive relationships.
Qualifications
-
High School Diploma/GED required.
-
Two years of advanced education or a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred.

Minimum 2+ years of office experience; accounting experience preferred.

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
-
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
-
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
