Job Description
Job Title: PRN Dental Assistant
Location: Fresno, CA
Job Summary:
The PRN Dental Assistant provides chairside support to the dentist and ensures efficient patient care in a fast-paced dental setting. This role assists with procedures, prepares treatment rooms, maintains sterilization standards, and delivers excellent patient service.
Schedule:
- PRN / As Needed
- Monday – Friday
Pay: $20.00
Essential Job Functions:
- Assist dentist during procedures
- Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms
- Sterilize instruments and follow infection control protocols
- Take dental X-rays (as certified)
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Provide pre- and post-procedure instructions
- Support front office as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Dental Assistant certification preferred
- Current X-ray certification required
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Flexible availability
