Die Cut Operator

Job Description
Hire Up Staffing is partnering with a respected family-owned packaging company in Dallas, TX, and we're actively seeking a qualified Die Cut Machine Operator to join our team.
Salary:$20-$24 per hour (based on experience)
Shift:1st Shift, Mon. - Thurs.; 7 am - 5 pm
Summary: This role involves setting up and running Zerand roll-fed, printing machines to produce high-quality label rolls. Candidates with at least one year of experience are encouraged to apply, and we offer comprehensive training for those with relevant skills.
MUST HAVES:
- Should have some experience with dies
- Understand the rule for the cutting process
- Knowledgeable of the ink required for the printing process
- Need to have roll fed die cutting experience or sheet feed die cutting will work as well.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain production machinery efficiently.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine jams.
- Follow written procedures and work instructions.
- Provide improvement feedback to management.
- Lead the packing process in the work area.
- Set up jobs based on order specifications.
- Complete production paperwork accurately.
- Inspect and approve product quality.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the machine area.
- Ensure safety rules and equipment guards are followed and functioning.
- Train new associates on job duties.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in machine operation or a similar role.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication skills and teamwork ability.
- Successful background check and drug screen prior to hiring.
