Job Description

Hire Up Staffing has partnered with a well-established distribution company, to assist with an urgent need for a Dispatch Coordinator in their Dallas-Ft. Worth, TX location. 
  Monday - Friday; 7 a.m. - 4 p.m. and 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (rotates on occasion)
In-office with potential to work remote 1 day/week after probationary period
$22-$25/hour (Depending on Experience) + OT
In this you are responsible for providing high-level customer service, updating customers on order status, and managing deliveries. This role involves informing vendors of order details, communicating supply situations to Sales, and processing orders, ensuring timely delivery. 

The Dispatch Coordinator maintains the company reference rack, manages daily prices, and collaborates with the Facilities Superintendent to ensure appropriate product levels. 

Additional responsibilities include: 
  • assisting the billing department.
  • maintaining relationships with vendors, salespeople, and customers.
  • providing occasional night, weekend, and emergency on-call availability.
The ideal candidate possesses:
  • 2-4 years of logistics and/or dispatch experience with a high volume of paperwork for shipping frieght orders
  • strong customer service skills
  • typing 30 wpm
  • proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • excellent telephone and communication skills
  • attention to detail
  • positive attitude
  • ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team under pressure.
