Job Description
Our team at Hire Up Executive is actively seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join one of our local client's team as an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager or Director. This position, with a preference towards Director level, offers a competitive salary starting at $125,000, a signing bonus (details forthcoming), full benefits, and the potential for yearly bonuses (details forthcoming). We are open to considering candidates with over 10 years of experience as a Director, with a salary range up to $175,000.
Location:Â Based out of the Visalia area, this role will require frequent local travel (within 30 mile radius)
Requirements:
- For Director level: Over 10 years of relevant experience
- For Manager level: 5 years of experience as an EHS Manager
- Experience in Ag operations or manufacturing/production industry is required
- Bachelor's Degree (Master's Preferred)
Responsibilities: As an integral part of our team, the EHS Manager/Director will be responsible for the following essential duties:
- Implementing and maintaining various Corporate Safety Programs at the plants
- Leading and collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, HR, Environmental, and Safety staff
- Ensuring compliance with EPA’s Risk Management Plan (RMP)
- Conducting Compliance Audits, Process Hazard Analysis, and Mechanical Integrity Inspections
- Managing the Emergency Action Plans
- Working on resource conservation implementation plans aligned with the company's Sustainability Vision
- Developing communication platforms and training tools for promoting resource conservation culture
- Supervising and following up with contractors, work orders, and completion of tasks
