Electrical Estimator
Job Description
Schedule - 7:30a-4p
Pay- $25 DOE
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide estimating support to the electrical estimating team.
- Utilize Accubid software to input data, generate take-offs, and assist with preparing bid proposals.
- Organize, maintain, and track project documentation, including drawings, bid documents, and contracts.
- Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and bid summaries.
- Conduct quantity take-offs and ensure accuracy in calculations and pricing.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors for quotes and pricing information.
- Manage project files, schedules, and deadlines to ensure timely completion of bids.
- Support the team with reporting, spreadsheets, and data entry related to estimating and project management.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned to ensure smooth department operations.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of administrative experience in the construction or electrical industry (preferred).
- Proficiency in Accubid estimating software is required.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with team members, vendors, and clients.
- Knowledge of electrical construction terminology and processes is a plus.
