Job Description
Hire Up Staffing is seeking a skilled Control Panel Wireman for our client in Northwest Houston.
Days 7a-5p with a 1-hour lunch.
Pay -$20-$25/hr. DOE
Responsible for the assembly, wiring, and testing of electrical control panels used in various applications, such as industrial machinery, pumps, and automation systems
Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints
Assemble electrical control panels according to design specifications
Layout, mount, and connect electrical components, including switches, relays, circuit breakers, and other control devices on pump control systems
Install and route electrical wiring within panels
Terminate and connect wires to the appropriate components
Ensure proper wire sizing, bundling, and labeling for clarity and safety
Testing and Quality Control: Conduct functional tests on assembled panels to ensure proper operation
Troubleshoot and resolve any wiring or assembly issues
Perform quality control checks to meet industry standards and safety regulations
Maintain accurate records of panel wiring and assembly activities
Create documentation, including wiring diagrams and test reports
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure project goals are met
Communicate effectively regarding project progress and any challenges encountered
Complete testing of the completed panel
Ability to troubleshoot and solve electrical issues
