Eligibility Coordinator
Location: Fresno, CA | Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $21.75 – $23.50/hour (DOE)
Hire Up Staffing is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Eligibility Coordinator on behalf of one of our valued medical clients in Fresno. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position for someone with a strong background in insurance verification and healthcare administration.
Position Summary:
The Eligibility Coordinator is responsible for verifying insurance eligibility and benefits prior to patient appointments, updating internal systems with accurate information, and collaborating with both front desk and billing teams to ensure a smooth patient experience. This individual plays a vital role in maintaining operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:

Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for all scheduled office visits

Accurately update patient and insurance information in the database

Maintain consistent communication with front desk and billing personnel

Obtain and verify MC-R and assist with demographic updates

Assist in collecting patient payments as needed

Provide additional administrative and billing support as requested

Adapt to changing duties as assigned by the Practice Administrator or based on patient care needs
Schedule & Requirements:

Standard business hours following a modified/half-day training schedule during the first week

Bilingual in Spanish is not required

Flexibility is essential, as responsibilities may shift based on operational or patient care needs
Pay Range:
$21.75 – $23.50 per hour, depending on experience
