Job Overview:
Hire Up Staffing is seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join the team of a reputable client in the insurance industry. This role will be responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring the seamless delivery of employee benefits services, and coordinating the renewal process. The ideal candidate will bring a combination of client service expertise, industry knowledge, and organizational skills to the position.
Salary: $65k-$75k
Schedule: M-F 8AM-5PM
Full Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k) / Roth, Paid Holidays, 2 weeks Vacation, 7 days Sick time
Direct Hire Opportunity
Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and producers, assisting with inquiries related to administration, billing, claims, and problem resolution.

Manage the employee benefits renewal process, working closely with clients and producers to present renewal options and all necessary documentation.

Prepare and present marketing materials to clients, working alongside producers and account managers to ensure clients are informed of available options.

Coordinate and schedule client meetings in collaboration with producers, ensuring a smooth and effective implementation of benefits plans.

Provide guidance and support to clients on compliance matters, including HIPAA, COBRA, ERISA, and relevant legislation.

Conduct regular account management visits (quarterly) with assigned clients to address ongoing needs and ensure satisfaction.

Oversee the preparation and distribution of benefit booklets, benefit statements, and other materials as required.

Assist clients in organizing and executing open enrollment meetings, providing both strategic support and logistical assistance.

Process enrollments, changes, and terminations for clients, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.

Offer administrative support for special projects, process improvements, and new service development as needed.

Utilize the Epic Agency Management System to maintain up-to-date records on policies, activities, client meetings, and follow-ups.

Ensure compliance with the E&O Plus program, maintaining high professional standards and safeguarding against errors.
Qualifications:

Current CA Life and Disability license required.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in Employee Benefits or a similar role within the insurance industry.

Experience managing both small and large accounts, with a strong focus on customer service.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.

Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Health Connect, and Epic.

Willingness to travel locally to meet with clients and producers as needed.
