Are you a licensed Professional Engineer eager to contribute to essential water infrastructure projects? Hire Up Staffing has partnered with a public entity and is seeking a Capital Improvement Project Engineer – Pipeline to join their team in Arlington, TX. This role focuses on enhancing water and wastewater pipeline systems through effective project planning, design review, and implementation.


Salary: $96k - $129k Annually
Schedule: Monday – Friday; Flexible Business Hours

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee multiple consultant contracts for the planning and design of pipeline systems.
  • Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure quality project outcomes.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and adherence to capital improvement standards.
  • Prepare detailed written and oral presentations for stakeholders and municipal boards.
  • Support the integration of centralized systems to track capital improvement progress and funding needs.
  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders to advance organizational goals.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or related field preferred).
  • Licensure: Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Experience: 5+ years exp. in a municipality, governmental, or engineering roles with a focus on water utilities.
  • Knowledgeable in pipeline design, government regulations, and project management processes.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
