Hire Up Staffing Services is seeking dependable and energetic Event Staff to support a large outdoor religious event from October 2nd through October 5th. This is a temporary opportunity ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, assisting event attendees, and being part of a team.
Position Details
- Position: Event Staff
- Event Dates: October 2nd – October 5th
- Pay: $16.90 per hour
- Location: Outdoor Event
- Employment Type: Temporary
Event Staff will assist with the setup, operation, maintenance, and breakdown of the event. Responsibilities may include:
- Setting up event areas, including arranging tables, chairs, tents, and equipment
- Assisting with event equipment and supplies
- Greeting and directing event participants and visitors
- Assisting with traffic management and directing vehicles and pedestrians
- Monitoring designated event areas and helping maintain a safe, orderly environment
- Helping enforce event rules and following event safety procedures
- Keeping event areas clean and organized throughout the event
- Removing garbage, clearing tables, and maintaining a tidy event space
- Assisting with event breakdown and take-down after the event
- Removing temporary furniture, equipment, and supplies
- Assisting with general event needs as directed by event supervisors
- Working cooperatively with team members to ensure the event runs smoothly
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Professional and friendly attitude
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods
- Ability to stand, walk, and remain active throughout the workday
- Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to assist with lifting, moving, and setting up event equipment as needed
- Previous event, hospitality, security, traffic control, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
